About the role

  • Assisting the Assistant Secretary with ensuring operational compliance with DCF’s strategic plan objectives and performance measures
  • Operational and management responsibility for the regional Community Directors and their teams
  • Support in coordinating projects, work assignments, budgets, and services requiring multi-location participation
  • Supporting an integrated agency-wide strategic action plan and roadmap
  • Providing direction to regions and all program areas
  • Oversight and direction for the Regional Community Prevention team
  • Collaboration with community partners for service delivery
  • Reviewing and analyzing operational performance metrics
  • Monitoring achievements and reporting on progress
  • Leading business process reengineering activities
  • Developing and maintaining a system for program integration

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Valid Driver License
  • 7+ years of child welfare experience
  • 3 years of senior or executive leadership experience
  • Must be able to travel across the state of Florida.
