About the role
- Provide visitor services and administration skills
- Participate in resource management tasks
- Maintain park structures and grounds through various maintenance practices
- Conduct administrative tasks including preparing reports and answering correspondence
- Perform routine patrols and security checks of the park
- Provide natural and cultural history interpretive programs and services
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s license
- Good visitor service and administrative skills
- Moderate independence in work
- Knowledge of Florida’s natural and cultural resources
- Skill in basic arithmetic and good public relations
- Ability to participate in resource management tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
