About the role

  • Supervisory responsibilities including communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees
  • Develop performance expectations and meet with staff regularly to discuss performance
  • Provide professional nursing services in women's health, family planning, and pediatric patients
  • Oversite of clinical staff and clinical functions
  • Ensure adherence to nursing protocol policies

Requirements

  • Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Chapter 464, Florida Statue
  • Knowledge of nursing principles, practices and techniques
  • Ability to administer prescribed medications
  • Ability to provide direct patient care and treatment
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • Skills in the use of medical equipment and instruments used in providing nursing care.
