About the role
- Supervisory responsibilities including communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees
- Develop performance expectations and meet with staff regularly to discuss performance
- Provide professional nursing services in women's health, family planning, and pediatric patients
- Oversite of clinical staff and clinical functions
- Ensure adherence to nursing protocol policies
- Participate in quality improvement activities
Requirements
- Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Chapter 464, Florida Statue
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices and techniques
- Ability to administer prescribed medications
- Ability to provide direct patient care and treatment
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Skills in the use of medical equipment and instruments used in providing nursing care.
