About the role
- Ensure the housing area is clean, disinfected, and sanitized.
- Scrubbing floors, cleaning blinds, baseboards, walls, windows, sinks, showers, and commodes.
- Vacuuming, shampooing carpets, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and wiping off tables and furniture.
- Assist in making beds as needed.
- Remove trash and dirty trash liners at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist with other areas and houses as requested by supervisor.
- Maintain custodial closet in an orderly fashion and in compliance with standards.
- Notify supervisor of any work orders that need to be submitted immediately.
- Complete required documents as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Custodial/janitorial experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of safety measures for using and storing cleaning supplies.
- Ability to perform basic housekeeping duties.
