About the role
- Ensure compliance with processing requirements of Chapter 215.422, F.S.
- Supervise park staff and manage area resources and facilities
- Prepare, implement, and control work scheduling and assignments
- Prepare budget requests and supervise fee collection
- Maintain good public relations with local and state government agencies and volunteers
- Plan, implement, and control area maintenance program
- Enforce laws, rules, operating policies, leases, agreements, and permits
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of prescribed fire building construction and maintenance
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic
- Knowledge of exotic plants and removal techniques
- Knowledge of park service management and operation
- Experience in interviewing, selecting and training personnel
- Experience developing and managing a budget
