About the role
- Lead end to end recruitment for maritime engineering and R&D roles
- Partner with technical hiring managers to define hiring priorities and candidate profiles
- Build targeted pipelines within maritime engineering and naval technology talent markets
- Identify and engage engineers working on maritime systems, robotics, autonomy, and related technologies
- Provide insight on talent availability and hiring risks within specialised maritime sectors
- Ensure structured candidate evaluation and clear hiring recommendations
- Maintain accurate recruitment pipelines and data within Personio
Requirements
- Fluent in English and German
- Strong experience recruiting specialised engineering or R&D roles
- Demonstrated success sourcing and hiring within maritime, naval, defence, or advanced engineering environments
- Demonstrated ability to partner credibly with senior engineering leaders and technical hiring managers in high bar technical hiring environments
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on complex technical roles
- Strong understanding of Northern Germany’s maritime engineering ecosystem is highly preferred
- Highly structured and comfortable operating independently in a fast growing environment.
