About the role

  • Lead end to end recruitment for maritime engineering and R&D roles
  • Partner with technical hiring managers to define hiring priorities and candidate profiles
  • Build targeted pipelines within maritime engineering and naval technology talent markets
  • Identify and engage engineers working on maritime systems, robotics, autonomy, and related technologies
  • Provide insight on talent availability and hiring risks within specialised maritime sectors
  • Ensure structured candidate evaluation and clear hiring recommendations
  • Maintain accurate recruitment pipelines and data within Personio

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and German
  • Strong experience recruiting specialised engineering or R&D roles
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and hiring within maritime, naval, defence, or advanced engineering environments
  • Demonstrated ability to partner credibly with senior engineering leaders and technical hiring managers in high bar technical hiring environments
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams on complex technical roles
  • Strong understanding of Northern Germany’s maritime engineering ecosystem is highly preferred
  • Highly structured and comfortable operating independently in a fast growing environment.
