About the role
- Responsible for the leadership and technical execution of project design
- Stamping and sealing bid documents
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of professional work
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and ADA requirements
- Assist the Project Director in developing project staff-hours and planning schedule
- Coordinate the layout, design, drafting, and specifications produced by other architects
- Mentor junior staff and assist in the development of future project architects
- Stay informed of new developments and systems in architectural practice
- Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents
Requirements
- Academic, Healthcare, Mission Critical, Manufacturing, or Science & Technology experience preferred
- Requires thorough knowledge of architectural practice
- Requires thorough knowledge of code principles
- Experience using Revit software
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead others and foster teamwork
- Ability to use good judgment and make timely decisions
- Requires knowledge of basic firm financial metrics related to project management
- Proactive management style
- Professional degree in Architecture
- 10 years of related experience
- Licensed Architect required
