About the role

  • Responsible for the leadership and technical execution of project design
  • Stamping and sealing bid documents
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of professional work
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and ADA requirements
  • Assist the Project Director in developing project staff-hours and planning schedule
  • Coordinate the layout, design, drafting, and specifications produced by other architects
  • Mentor junior staff and assist in the development of future project architects
  • Stay informed of new developments and systems in architectural practice
  • Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents

Requirements

  • Academic, Healthcare, Mission Critical, Manufacturing, or Science & Technology experience preferred
  • Requires thorough knowledge of architectural practice
  • Requires thorough knowledge of code principles
  • Experience using Revit software
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead others and foster teamwork
  • Ability to use good judgment and make timely decisions
  • Requires knowledge of basic firm financial metrics related to project management
  • Proactive management style
  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • 10 years of related experience
  • Licensed Architect required
