About the role

  • Identify and prioritize key clients and growth opportunities in California and Mountain states
  • Lead pursuit teams and contribute to winning major projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients
  • Mentor junior and intermediate staff
  • Model natural hazard phenomena and provide technical expertise
  • Plan and lead field crews for data acquisition
  • Write technical reports and manage project budgets

Requirements

  • PhD in a related discipline preferred, or a Master's degree with relevant experience
  • Advanced subject matter expertise in debris flows and debris flow assessments
  • Registered or eligible to register as a PE, GE in California
  • Experienced with RAAMS, HEC-RAS, FLO2D, DebrisFlow Predictor, and other geohazards models
  • Demonstrated experience designing landslide mitigation
  • ArcGIS Pro experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel and participate in remote field work
  • Physically fit for hiking in rugged terrain
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
