About the role
- Support the PR team in implementing the company’s PR strategy and help execute relevant deliverables
- Research, create, edit, and deliver engaging content for thought leadership blogs, press releases, website content, social media content, and other communications
- Track engagement and report on PR campaigns and initiatives
- Execute media relations functions including media tracking, pitching, and reporting
- Maintain and update databases of media contacts
- Track, analyze, and compare competitor social and website engagement
- Communicate and build relationships with internal clients
- Research relevant industry topics to assess media opportunities
- Monitor, scan, and summarize news stories relevant to the company’s industry
Requirements
- Written and oral communication skills
- Ability to understand key topics within technical areas
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications, or journalism is preferred
