About the role
- Assisting project and agile teams with Quality Assurance processes.
- Helping coordinate testing processes through various testing phases.
- Collaborating with business and systems analysts on test plans and test cases.
- Creating and maintaining test cases and test suites using Tricentis qTest under supervision.
- Assisting with test case creation and manual test execution with the offshore team.
- Executing test runs, analyzing test results, and logging defects in Jira with guidance.
- Providing project teams with test execution and defect status updates.
- Supporting the operational release process as it relates to QA activities.
- Assisting with test user and access maintenance.
- Helping train users on Tricentis qTest.
- Creating, updating, and posting relevant QA documentation in Confluence.
- Assisting in administering and maintaining the Tricentis qTest test management system.
- Exploring opportunities to automate testing.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in both written and spoken French and English is a must.
- Francophone education is considered an asset.
- Ability to work in very dynamic environment switching projects and focus on short notice.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and think analytically.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Self-motivated with good collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Understanding of ITIL practices.
- Knowledge in SDLC, STLC, testing methodologies and best practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of release management processes and best practices is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Financial, HRMS and Project Accounting business processes is a plus.
- Experience with Tricentis qTest, Jira, Confluence and Quest Stat is a plus.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or any degree from a technical school, preferably in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field and pursuing a Master’s degree.
