About the role
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful execution
- Work collaboratively with project leaders, architects, design partners, peers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success metrics
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively
- Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Requirements
- Experience in project management within the healthcare sector, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project challenges
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project management within the healthcare sector
- Professional Engineering license is strongly preferred
- Fundamental understanding of NFPA 99, ASHRAE 170, and the FGI Guidelines as they specifically apply to Hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and medical office buildings
- Functional knowledge of BIM software Revit
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
