About the role
- Assist in analyzing traffic data and toll facility transaction data.
- Conduct specialized toll facility analyses, including feasibility studies, investment-grade traffic and revenue studies, toll rate analyses, customer behavior assessments, net revenue evaluations, and toll diversion modeling.
- Perform transportation planning studies, traffic impact studies, traffic operations analyses, and speed studies.
- Develop plans for collecting traffic and toll facility transaction data.
- Create long-term traffic and revenue forecasts for toll roads.
- Draft technical memoranda and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Transportation Planning, City and Regional Planning, Operations Research, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience is preferred. Previous internship experience a plus.
- A master’s degree is considered an asset.
- EIT or AICP certification is a plus.
- Experience with large databases, dashboard development, and related software such as Power BI, Tableau, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with computer programming languages (e.g., C, Java, Python).
- Knowledge of GIS software.
- Strong proficiency in standard business software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Strong interest in transportation planning and socioeconomics.
