About the role
- Design and develop electrical distribution systems, lighting, fire alarm and communications systems;
- Design low- and medium-voltage distribution networks;
- Establish and maintain contact with the client to request or provide technical information related to the project;
- Perform modeling and analysis;
- Coordinate multidisciplinary activities;
- Prepare technical specifications; sign and seal drawings;
- Write and approve technical reports;
- Survey existing installations;
- Participate in project planning;
- Provide site supervision and administrative follow-up during construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
- 10 years of experience in the design and delivery of building electrical projects for private and industrial clients (food processing, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, warehousing, etc.);
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team approach;
- ASP construction card;
- Knowledge of English is an asset to facilitate collaboration with our teams outside Quebec or with clients.
