About the role
- Directing roadway design staff, and managing multi-discipline project teams.
- Financial management of projects including budget forecasting, resource management, change-order management, and client invoicing.
- Developing proposals, budgets and schedules, and on-going business development and liaison with clients, both internal and external to Stantec.
- Collaborating with Transportation Leaders and other Project Managers to identify staffing, equipment, and training requirements.
- Supporting the Stantec Quality Management System, and promoting Stantec’s Environmental Health & Safety program.
- Ensuring that the required functions of the project are implemented to meet standards.
- Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Building a strong culture of quality design and teamwork.
Requirements
- You are a highly motivated, registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, and have minimum 5-7 years of related and applied work experience.
- The ideal candidate will also have the following additional skills and qualifications:
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills are essential.
- Experienced in project management on MTO and/or Ontario municipal road projects.
- Experienced in SW Ontario public sector projects will set you apart from your peer group.
- Experienced in report and proposal writing.
- Experienced roadway design.
