About the role
- Develop best practices and standards for the Product Execution Engineering, Reliability and Testing teams to develop and validate products more efficiently and effectively.
- Focus on improving our design verification and validation plan, design requirements, test plans, design of experiments and failure mode & effects analysis.
- Teach others our Product Design Verification Processes while meeting Customer CTQ Metrics to Ensure a Successful Product launch.
- Develop metrics and reporting for the T&O Testing, Engineering, and Reliability teams.
- Participate in Test Plan Reviews During the NPD Process to Ensure Products Meet All Requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Related Discipline
- 10+ Years Technical Experience in Reliability/Test Lab/Quality Discipline in a New Product Development Environment with Electro-Mechanical Devices
- Strong Test and Engineering skills such as Root Cause Analysis, DOE, FMEA, FRACAs, etc.
- Trained in the Use of Six Sigma Tools and Techniques (i.e., Six Sigma Green Belt)
- Work effectively with minimal supervision and maintain good working relationship with internal and external teams & customers
