About the role
- Provides the full range of distributive, clinical, consultative, research, investigational, and/or administrative pharmaceutical services.
- Select, compound, manufacture, purchase, dispense, and/or preserve drugs, medicines, and other therapeutic agents.
- Serves as a member and consultant on treatment or diagnostic teams.
- Disseminates drug information to members of the hospital staff and interested community groups.
- May participate in hospital research projects or perform pharmaceutical research.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university.
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
- One (1) year if completed a PGY1 residency.
- CA Board of Pharmacy License - Registered Pharmacist required.
- BLS - Basic Life Support required within 30 Days or ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 30 Days.
