About the role

  • Configure ServiceNow modules based on defined business and technical requirements
  • Build and maintain forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and automation
  • Develop and support integrations between ServiceNow and other county systems (REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server)
  • Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to testing cycles (UAT/SIT)
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and platform standards
  • Partner with the implementation team to validate technical feasibility, recommend best practices, and support release planning
  • Own assigned modules and configuration areas, ensuring quality, stability, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration and implementation
  • Working knowledge of core ITSM modules: Incident, Request, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Change
  • Experience designing and building:
  • - Flow Designer workflows
  • - Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Notifications
  • - Catalog Items & Record Producers
  • - Experience with automation (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Orchestration preferred)
  • - Ability to translate functional requirements into technical configurations
  • - Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • - Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned modules/features
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, OAuth, APIs)
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and ITSM best practices
  • Experience working with government or enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments
  • Understanding of update set management, dev-test-prod migration, and configuration governance
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-Workflow, or CIC IntegrationHub)
