About the role
- Facilitate and document contract renewals, ensuring all deadlines are met and necessary paperwork is completed.
- Complete morning checks to allocate/action emails, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Upkeep and update financial documents and templates, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, expense tracking, financial reporting, and maintaining P&L statements and Balance Sheets.
- Review, verify, and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain financial records and documents in an organized manner, ensuring compliance with data retention policies.
- Check billing service boards in ConnectWise, oversee ticket management, and liaise internally with Tech staff for resolution.
- Prepare and edit financial correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 3+ years of experience in financial administration, accounts management, or a similar role
- Proficiency in Xero, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and ConnectWise (for billing service board management)
- Familiarity with financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheets
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
