About the role
- Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to understand job requirements and sourcing objectives
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including Boolean search, X-ray search, LinkedIn, job boards, databases, and networking to identify qualified candidates
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Screen and engage passive candidates through outbound outreach, cold calling, and email campaigns
- Deliver qualified talent for various position levels across disciplines such as operations, technical services, and corporate functions
- Maintain accurate records of candidate outreach and activity using applicant tracking systems and other sourcing tools
- Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to inform sourcing strategies
- Provide regular updates on sourcing progress, market insights, and candidate feedback to recruitment and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with the broader talent acquisition team to improve sourcing processes, diversify candidate pools, and ensure positive candidate experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communication is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in Australian onshore talent sourcing, recruiting, or related human resource function
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday, SmartRecruiters, or similar platforms)
- Proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK Talent Search, job boards, and sourcing extensions/tools
- Background or sourcing familiarity within the energy, transport/logistics, pharmaceutical, or facilities sectors is an advantage
- Strong Boolean search skills and ability to identify hard-to-find talent through advanced sourcing tactics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced recruiting environment
- High attention to detail and a structured, data-driven approach to candidate engagement and tracking
