• Manage all coordination for candidate interviews, assessments, and onsite logistics, ensuring a smooth, timely, and highly professional experience at every step.
• Serve as the Greenhouse subject matter expert for the TA team maintaining data accuracy, troubleshooting issues, optimizing workflows, and helping others learn best practices.
• Own data hygiene within Greenhouse, conducting regular audits, correcting inconsistencies, and ensuring our hiring data is accurate, complete, and analytics-ready.
• Update and maintain recruiting documentation, SOPs, templates, and playbooks as processes evolve and proactively identify where documentation should be added or improved.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to execute consistent and compliant processes that reflect Stack AV’s values and hiring standards.
• Track candidates through the pipeline with precision, flag bottlenecks, and ensure the team is aware of deadlines, scheduling needs, and required next steps.
• Provide exceptional customer service to candidates, ensuring they are informed, supported, and respected throughout their journey.
• Support small projects across Recruiting and PeopleOps — such as interview training, documentation rollouts, onboarding process updates, or process improvements that strengthen the overall function.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and recommend improvements that increase speed, accuracy, and overall team effectiveness.

Staff ML Engineer, Dynamic World Perception

Full-stack Engineer

• Develop embedded software architectures - develop scalable, modular, and real-time embedded systems for our autonomous vehicle platform.
• Mentor and guide team members - provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and lead by example.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards - apply safety guidelines to build safety-critical software with robust fault handling.
• Coordinate tasks amongst team members to achieve on time delivery.
• Support vehicle testing and field deployments - diagnose and resolve embedded software issues in real-world scenarios.

Staff Embedded Software Engineer

• Own delivery of motion planning modules that solve on-vehicle problems and deliver for customer needs - meeting product requirements and meeting the needs of the controls system, providing a safe, smooth trajectory for the system to follow.
• Provide input in the technical direction for the team, and work cross-functionally to develop safe systems. This will include working closely with other teams such as perception, localization, and controls to ensure that the input to the motion planning modules is appropriate.
• Work closely with systems engineers to ensure a safe, well tested product is delivered.
• Work closely with verification teams to ensure proper testing and validation of the motion planning modules. Make extensive use of unit testing, simulation, and log simulation to properly validate their work.
• Collaborate with other autonomy teams including perception, localization, controls, etc. to ensure solutions are appropriate for real-world performance.
• Provide input to team roadmaps and ensure product features are properly prioritized.
• Identify bottlenecks and limitations in system performance, and develop novel motion planning components to unlock new capabilities and ensure a reliable system.
• Be involved in experimentation, design and iteration exercises, and help to align stakeholders by using strong presentation and communication skills.

Staff Software Engineer – Vehicle Behaviors

• Own the technical direction of the team in leveraging foundational models and related techniques for the dual mission of the team.
• Design and implement offboard pipelines to train, distill, evaluate and serve Machine Learning Models.
• Demonstrate that these pipelines work with open source data and contribute to open-source libraries.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvements and work with senior leadership team to prioritization of resolutions.

Analyst

• Collaborate with Autonomy and Operations teams to review and annotate events of interest from real-world driving and simulation.
• Annotate events with contextual information, adhering to Stack's Triage Policy & Guidelines.
• Utilize data visualization tools to categorize events by issue type and priority.
• Process detailed guideline documentation and use various review tools (video, textual, numerical data) to accurately categorize AV events.
• Assemble and present performance reports on the self-driving system using Triage data.

Triage Analyst

• Stack is developing revolutionary AI and advanced autonomous systems for autonomous trucking.
• Dynamic World Perception team responsible for real-time detection and classification of road actors and properties.
• Lead development, maintenance, and enhancement of long-range detection capabilities and occupancy networks.
• Expand and fuse detection models, improve model frameworks, architecture, and data pipelines.
• Develop robust onboard software optimized for real-time, resource-constrained, safety-critical environments.
