About the role

  • Own and execute the company’s short-term and long-term sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales organization (AEs, SDRs, and future roles as needed)
  • Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and accountability across the sales team
  • Coach and develop sales managers and individual contributors to consistently achieve excellence
  • Define and continuously improve the sales process from lead to close to drive consistency and predictability
  • Own sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, metrics, tooling, and enablement
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, Operations, and Product to align on go-to-market execution
  • Surface customer and market insights to influence product roadmap, pricing, packaging, and GTM initiatives
  • Support AEs in closing complex or strategic deals, including negotiations and multi-stakeholder management
  • Design and drive outbound strategy and execution to build a predictable pipeline
  • Lead go-to-market efforts for new products, features, and pricing changes

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a sales and/or sales leadership role at a B2B startup
  • Experience selling and closing software products
  • Exposure to enterprise deals ($100K) and building outbound motions
  • Proficiency in a full-stack of sales and analytic tools including Hubspot, Google Sheets, Unify/Clay, Metabase, or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel at least quarterly for company offsites and board meetings
