About the role
- Provide technical support for the use, maintenance, and repair of advanced composites, metallic components, and nacelle systems hardware
- Provide timely technical support for the repair, maintenance, and operation of our hardware to customers
- Comprehend and synthesize data from maintenance manuals, engineering drawings & specifications
- Monitor in-service problems and reliability of our products
- Participate on teams assigned to address in-service problems and provide continuous product improvement
- Obtain hardware damage details from customers and collaborate with Repair Engineering
- Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations
- Collaborate with Technical Publications Team to ensure technical publications accuracy
- Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers
- Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college or university
- U.S. Person status or government authorization is required
- Three or more years of experience in engineering and/or technical customer support
- Knowledge of nacelle hardware, the aviation industry and engineering technology and tools
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
- Effective team building skills
- Strong project management skills
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Ability to develop and execute plans with a sense of urgency
