About the role
- Evaluates, plans, and provides treatment and rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring physician
- Works with family and team members regarding patient’s abilities and goals
- Provides occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to achieve desired outcomes
- Participates in clinical care conferencing
- Gathers data and accurately documents information in a timely manner
- Supports the vision, mission and values of the organization
Requirements
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Must have necessary requisites for licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Oregon State Board of Health
- Valid Oregon driver's license
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification
- One year of experience with therapy procedures, orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures, and rehabilitation practices
- Preferred: Previous occupational therapy experience in a hospital based setting
