About the role
- Provide expertise on current digital and e-commerce “best practices.”
- Consult team members to ensure values are incorporated.
- Collaborate across departments and IT applications to drive optimal productivity;
- Foster an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.
- Subject matter expert in GMS digital platform and integrated applications.
- Provide both technical and timely support to internal and external users.
- Create rapport with internal and external customers to facilitate sustained utilization and adoption of the digital platform.
- Drive awareness and buy-in of new digital and e-commerce functionality throughout GMS.
- Facilitate the development process (AGILE/ Waterfall) to ensure new functionality is on topic and provides end user benefit.
- Provide technical support to yards as needed (phone, email, helpdesk, etc.).
- Conduct training, both in person and virtually.
- Work on special projects as requested.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience with ERP or supply chain management systems
- Overall understanding of the wholesale B2B distribution supply chain
- Expertise with AGILE or Waterfall methodology
- At least intermediate proficiency of Microsoft Excel
