Spearhead strategic inventory control by collaborating with field leadership to establish and meet inventory goals.
Direct the inventory replenishment process by coordinating inventory transfers and preventing stock outs.
Utilize advanced analytical tools to provide actionable insights to field leadership.
Collaborate with data management teams to maintain SKU data integrity.
Drive the expediting process by reviewing key order reports and updating delivery timelines.
Optimize in-bound freight logistics by enhancing vendor pre-paid program efficiencies.
Resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with accounts payable and vendors.
Foster collaborative relationships with Regional Managers, Branch Managers, and Inventory Vendors.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in inventory management or a related role with a proven track record of success.
Direct experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a corporate environment.
Exposure to inventory replenishment strategies within a distribution or supply chain context.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.
Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or similar platforms.
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with an emphasis on prior experience in Agility Software considered advantageous.
Strong analytical abilities to evaluate and interpret data effectively to drive decision-making processes.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred, with a focus on supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM): Preferred.
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP): Preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP): Preferred.
Six Sigma Certification: Preferred.
