About the role
- Own Social Strategy & Execution
- Define SQUIRE’s social media strategy across: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X / Twitter, and YouTube (short-form and long-form, as appropriate)
- Own content planning, calendars, posting cadence, and optimization
- Stay on top of platform trends, formats, and algorithms
- Create Engaging, High-Quality Content
- You will create and publish a wide range of content, including:
- Customer stories and spotlights
- Product announcements and feature launches
- Educational content and best practices
- Industry facts, stats, and insights
- Behind-the-scenes and culture content
- Short-form video optimized for TikTok and Reels
- Engage With Customers & Community
- Actively monitor comments, DMs, and mentions
- Respond to customer questions in a timely, on-brand way
- Route inquiries to Sales, Support, or other internal teams as needed
- Surface trends, feedback, and insights from social back to the broader team
- Enable Employees & Customers to Participate
- Make it easy for SQUIRE employees, Barbers, and Show Owners to participate in social content and amplification
- Build simple systems and playbooks for:
- Employee advocacy
- Customer UGC and testimonials
- Reposts, collabs, and creator partnerships
- Measure & Improve
- Track and report on performance across platforms
- Optimize based on engagement, reach, and growth
- Experiment with new formats, creators, and content types
Requirements
- 5+ years managing social media for a brand or company
- Proven experience creating content that drives real engagement
- Experience owning social strategy, not just posting execution
- Bonus: experience in SaaS, beauty, barbering, wellness, or similar industries
- You are:
- A social media native — you understand platforms intuitively
- Comfortable being hands-on with content creation
- Strong writer with a great sense of brand voice
- Creative, curious, and always experimenting
- Highly organized and consistent
- You have:
- Experience creating short-form video content
- Strong instincts for what will resonate with creators and SMB owners
- Experience handling customer conversations publicly and privately
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Marketing, and Product
