About the role

  • Overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment with organizational goals
  • Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans aligned with company objectives, considering factors such as demand forecasting, inventory management, and production scheduling
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions in supply, geopolitical factors, regulatory changes, and economic uncertainties
  • Partner with the Segment sourcing/procurement organization to support supplier strategy, supplier selection, and supplier transitions aligned with operational and business needs
  • Lead cross-functional supplier performance reviews focused on delivery, quality, responsiveness, and risk mitigation; escalate supplier issues and drive corrective actions with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Develop inventory strategies to balance product availability with cost efficiency, minimizing excess inventory while ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, implementing lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, or other continuous improvement techniques to drive operational excellence

Requirements

  • 10+ years proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on strategic planning, supplier management, and logistics and inventory optimization
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, conduct root cause analysis, and develop actionable insights
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and technology platforms, such as ERP systems, demand planning tools, and transportation management systems
  • Project management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
