About the role
- Collaborate with customers to gather and understand their technical and business requirements for cloud-based solutions.
- Implement AWS-based solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of customers, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Implement and deploy cloud solutions on AWS using various services including EC2, S3, AppStream, VPC.
- Configure and manage Windows environments, MS SQL Server databases, and IIS web servers to support the deployment of software applications.
- Collaborate with internal development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with AWS services and other technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, project managers, and support teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment.
- Provide Project Management expertise and technical support to customers throughout the implementation process.
- Create documentation for client workflows throughout the implementation process including configuration details, task-dependent workflows, and relevant technical information for internal and customer reference.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in cloud computing, AWS services, security platforms, processes and cloud-based services.
Requirements
- Proven experience implementing and deploying AWS-based solutions for customers, with a strong understanding of AWS services like EC2.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows environments, MS SQL Server databases, and IIS web servers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues in complex cloud environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) is a strong plus.
