About the role
- Reconcile all insurance services that have been billed
- Ensure all claims are paid and resolve denied claims
- Review final reconciliation with patients and collect/refund any remaining balances
- Oversee patient accounts while maintaining strict patient confidentiality
- Maintain financial records for proper billing
Requirements
- Medical billing or coding experience preferred
- Knowledge of insurance claims processing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using financial software and tools
- Must be able to maintain strict patient confidentiality
