About the role

  • Define our digital products and services.
  • Understand user needs by conducting user research using a variety of techniques.
  • Bring together multi-disciplinary teams - including our frontline service practitioners, IT, data and governance, fundraising, communications, safeguarding, and agencies, to ensure we explore the different ways of looking at a problem.
  • Use design thinking, co-production and service design methods and tools to develop and manage digital platforms.
  • Use a lean approach to product design and innovation.
  • Map internal stakeholders and make a communication plan recognising the different levels of stakeholder involvement.
  • Work with our digital partners, agencies and colleagues across Action for Children to design, build and maintain our digital products.

Requirements

  • Experience of digital product and platform management.
  • Ability to build product roadmaps and maintain, prioritise, and communicate a product backlog.
  • Good knowledge of data analytics (including tools such as GA4) and optimising tactics for digital products.
  • A strong communicator, with experience managing complex stakeholder relationships, and ability to communicate the impact of product improvements and ROI.
  • You will have experience of Conversion Rate Optimisation principles and testing.
  • Ability to work within a diverse and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience using project management methodology and tools e.g. Jira.
  • Experience of using and managing content management systems.
  • Experience of desk research, horizon scanning and marketplace research.
  • Experience of online and in-person workshop facilitation.
  • You are passionate about inclusive and accessible service and product design and always on top of new trends and innovation.
  • Knowledge of managing external agencies and budgets.
  • Knowledge of code deployment processes and QA/UAT.
