About the role

  • Develop a deep, holistic understanding of Spotify’s Brazil business across brand, content, product, and financial performance.
  • Diagnose performance trends, identify structural growth opportunities, and surface emerging risks.
  • Translate insights into clear strategic priorities and actionable investment recommendations.
  • Assess key P&L drivers and evaluate trade-offs to maximize impact and sustainable growth.
  • Support and influence annual and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring alignment between strategy, targets, and execution.
  • Align stakeholders around clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive business rhythm and performance tracking — partner with cross-functional leads to ensure visibility, accountability, and focus.
  • Maintain oversight of budget allocation and investment effectiveness, identifying opportunities to reallocate resources for higher impact.
  • Build executive-ready narratives for QBRs, planning forums, and leadership reviews.
  • Advocate for Brazil’s needs and opportunities in regional and global forums.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to the local and regional leadership teams.

Requirements

  • A highly analytical and strategic business leader with 8+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, or a related field — ideally within technology, music, consumer internet, or other high-growth environments.
  • Combine structured thinking with strong business intuition and be comfortable operating at the intersection of strategy, insights, and execution.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and business performance management, including diagnosing drivers of growth, profitability, and market dynamics.
  • Experience building or influencing business cases, investment proposals, and resource allocation decisions.
  • A track record of translating data and ambiguity into clear strategic recommendations; able to synthesize complex information into concise narratives for senior leadership and global stakeholders.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed organizations, influencing without authority and aligning diverse stakeholders.
  • High ownership and autonomy — comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity where it does not yet exist.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).
