About the role

  • Lead end-to-end design for complex, workflow-driven experiences across Spotify for Artists
  • Define interaction models for AI-assisted and automation-powered product experiences
  • Rapidly prototype concepts using AI-enabled tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar environments
  • Partner closely with engineering and product to translate intent-based interactions into scalable systems
  • Contribute to evolving design system patterns that support AI-driven experiences
  • Share learnings and best practices to increase team fluency in agentic and AI-supported product development
  • Participate in design critique, asynchronous reviews, and cross-functional collaboration with research, product, and engineering
  • Balance long-term vision with iterative experimentation to deliver measurable impact for artist teams

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience designing and shipping complex digital products
  • experience designing AI-powered or automation-driven product experiences such as copilots, assistants, or workflow tools
  • comfortable collaborating closely with engineering partners and understanding technical constraints
  • hands-on experience using AI-assisted development or prototyping tools
  • think in systems and consider states, orchestration, scalability, and edge cases
  • energized by ambiguity and early-stage product exploration
  • balance speed and craft, prototyping quickly while maintaining strong design fundamentals
  • experience designing creator tools, B2B platforms, or analytics-driven workflow products
