About the role
- Design product experiences that empower artists and their teams to understand, manage, and grow their presence on Spotify
- Partner with senior designers to explore, prototype, and refine solutions for artist-facing features
- Take ownership of well-scoped projects, making design decisions with mentorship and feedback
- Support the evolution of our local design system by extending patterns, auditing existing designs, and documenting best practices
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and data scientists to translate artist needs into clear, usable designs
- Participate in critiques and design reviews to grow your craft, strengthen your problem-solving skills, and build confidence presenting your work
Requirements
- You’re early in your career but excited to grow as a designer, owning larger areas of the artist experience over time
- You have strong interaction and visual design craft, with the ability to translate requirements into clear, usable, and engaging designs
- You’re a collaborator who thrives in cross-functional teams and values mentorship and feedback
- You think in systems and are curious about how design patterns scale across products and platforms
- You’re motivated by artist empathy — curious about the music industry and eager to design tools that make a difference
- You’re adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to balance independent work with paired design
