About the role

  • Design product experiences that empower artists and their teams to understand, manage, and grow their presence on Spotify
  • Partner with senior designers to explore, prototype, and refine solutions for artist-facing features
  • Take ownership of well-scoped projects, making design decisions with mentorship and feedback
  • Support the evolution of our local design system by extending patterns, auditing existing designs, and documenting best practices
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and data scientists to translate artist needs into clear, usable designs
  • Participate in critiques and design reviews to grow your craft, strengthen your problem-solving skills, and build confidence presenting your work

Requirements

  • You’re early in your career but excited to grow as a designer, owning larger areas of the artist experience over time
  • You have strong interaction and visual design craft, with the ability to translate requirements into clear, usable, and engaging designs
  • You’re a collaborator who thrives in cross-functional teams and values mentorship and feedback
  • You think in systems and are curious about how design patterns scale across products and platforms
  • You’re motivated by artist empathy — curious about the music industry and eager to design tools that make a difference
  • You’re adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to balance independent work with paired design
