About the role

  • Join Visual Meaning, a specialist management consultancy in Oxford
  • Help organisations make sense of complex systems through interactive visual models
  • Work closely with colleagues and clients to design clear, meaningful visual models
  • Sketch and iterate system maps and visualisations, sometimes live in workshops
  • Access a visual asset library and collaborate with illustrators
  • Interview clients and facilitate workshops
  • Analyse interview notes, documents, and datasets, extracting insights
  • Manage time and budget, ensuring high-standard project delivery

Requirements

  • Experience in a client facing and or analytical role
  • Strong visual thinking and information design capability
  • The ability to distil complex or ambiguous ideas into clear, structured insight
  • Confidence seeing the bigger picture and reflecting it back to others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders
  • Project management and client handling experience
  • A portfolio of visual work would be highly desirable, but not essential
  • Experience with vector graphics software such as Adobe Illustrator would also be beneficial
  • An interest in data and experience using Excel or equivalent is also welcome
