About the role
- Shape the future of lending programs by leveraging data, building models, and presenting insights that influence business strategy.
- Analyze and interpret complex data to uncover actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Develop clean, efficient Python code to support data analysis, automation, and modeling.
- Conduct robust quantitative analyses to identify risks and opportunities, supporting growth while managing credit performance.
- Present insights and recommendations to the Credit Committee and lending partners with clarity and impact.
- Collaborate closely with leadership, cross-functional teams, and lending partners to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Contribute to a collaborative, fully remote culture by sharing ideas, knowledge, and best practices.
Requirements
- A strong quantitative mindset—naturally curious and confident working with large datasets.
- Creativity and a willingness to challenge assumptions with fresh perspectives.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data queries and A/B testing analysis (required).
- Fintech or credit risk experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with loss forecasting models in Python (big plus).
- Excellent communication skills—able to collaborate across teams, influence stakeholders, and present findings effectively.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (master’s degree preferred).
