Product Manager

• Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for HELOC in-house underwriting: decisioning, borrower and property verification, document generation, funding, closing, and loan sales.
• Lead vendor and lending-partner strategy, evaluating and integrating third-party providers for valuation, document generation, and verification, and working with capital partners to expand program capacity and coverage.
• Build the scaling roadmap beyond launch: multi-partner program support, state and geographic expansion, repricing and fee structures, underwriting efficiency improvements, and the post-close servicing infrastructure the business doesn't yet have.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, and Capital Markets to sequence delivery, manage licensing and regulatory requirements, and keep the business unblocked through a leadership transition.
• Use funnel, conversion, and portfolio data to define success metrics, prioritize ruthlessly against engineering capacity, and communicate tradeoffs clearly to executive stakeholders.

Staff Product Manager – HELOC

General

• Advise customers on mortgage loan products and guide them through the end-to-end application and approval process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, offering consistent and clear communication throughout their journey.
• Collaborate with underwriting and processing teams to ensure timely and accurate loan closings.
• Stay informed of lending regulations, market trends, and mortgage product updates to provide expert guidance.
• Contribute feedback to help refine and improve Splash’s mortgage processes, tools, and customer experience.

Mortgage Loan Officer

• Own the onboarding of new lender partners to the risk and credit space, from scoping integrations to go-live
• Improve how borrower demand is matched and allocated across lender supply, and manage the integration pipeline cross-functionally
• Put borrowers first— build improvements to the customer’s offer experience
• Run experiments and funnel optimizations, partnering with design on research and A/B testing to improve conversion
• Use AI tools to accelerate your own workflow—drafting documents, synthesizing research, analyzing data, and automating repetitive tasks
• Partner with data science to translate model outputs into product experiences optimized for our lenders and our borrowers.

Full-stack Engineer

• Own complex, multi-engineer and cross-team projects from design to delivery.
• Build and scale APIs that power our products and support continued growth.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve architecture, performance, and team efficiency.
• Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver impactful solutions.
• Mentor teammates and help raise the technical bar across the organization.
• Participate in on-call rotations and ensure system reliability.
• Actively engage in our remote-first, collaborative culture with open communication and shared accountability.
