About the role

  • Curology is seeking a Director of Data Analytics to lead our analytics strategy and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Refine data infrastructure, enhance analytical capabilities, and deliver actionable insights to fuel business growth.
  • Oversee the analytics team, develop best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure data informs product, marketing, and operations.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage and enhance the company's analytics infrastructure for scalability, accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to identify business questions, define key metrics, and deliver analytical frameworks.
  • Develop and implement best practices for data governance, reporting, visualization, and modeling.
  • Drive advanced analytics initiatives including customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and performance forecasting.
  • Oversee development of dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time business performance insights.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations with senior leadership through clear storytelling.
  • Champion data literacy across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on leading analytics teams in a growing tech or DTC environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  • In-depth understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytical techniques.
  • Proven experience developing data-driven strategies to inform business decisions in marketing, product, or operations.
  • Experience with data governance best practices and data quality management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of presenting complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong drive for results and a passion for data.
  • Experience in the beauty or healthcare sectors is a plus.
