About the role
- Own the SEO content roadmap : lead keyword research by continuously identifying SEO opportunities, lead the creation of new content, ensure proper implementation, and schedule content updates.
- Orchestrate the work of the writing team: manage the production of content that perfectly matches search intent, adapting to changes in search engines (SEO, GEO).
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of the information published on our website: work closely with subject-matter owners to maintain ongoing expertise and factual accuracy across our website.
- Produce the best content on the web: collaborate with the design team and the data team to make our articles unique with illustrations, charts, motion design, videos, and more.
- Oversee technical website health: drive performance improvements related to page speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, and URL strategy.
- Secure placements for Spiko in strategic media outlets: implement a link-building strategy to improve our domain ranking and boost our primary keywords.
- Identify barriers to search visibility: conduct regular audits across all SEO pillars (technical, semantic, competitive, offsite).
- Launch our Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy: Optimize site content and brand presence for LLM-driven discovery.
- Monitor SEO / GEO visibility and performance: deliver reporting and analysis on our SERP rankings, our share of voice in AI-generated answers, and the business impact of SEO and GEO.
- Optimize our production: Design and deploy AI-enabled production processes (generative AI, Make/n8n) to amplify the team’s impact and automate low-value tasks.
- Stay at the cutting edge of innovation: Identify best practices from top SEO and GEO players, and run real-world experiments.
Requirements
- Successful experience as a SEO lead in a top-tier startup with a demonstrated track record of driving organic growth for B2B / SaaS / Fintech brands.
- Hands-on experience with SEO & GEO best practices.
- Advanced proficiency with SEO tools (Oncrawl, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Majestic).
- Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers on technical implementations.
- Deep interest in financial services and enthusiasm for Spiko’s mission.
- Outstanding communication and editorial skills with native-level fluency in English and French.
- Strong autonomy and strategic thinking skills.
