About the role
- Develop and execute global commodity strategies for active components (MCUs, ASICs, FPGAs, analog ICs, power semiconductors, memory, optoelectronics).
- Align supplier strategies with technology roadmaps, product lifecycles, and long-term business needs.
- Establish and manage strategic relationships with IDMs, fabs, foundry partners, and authorized distributors.
- Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, LTAs, NCNR terms, allocation commitments, and capacity reservations.
- Own year-over-year cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives through pricing, VAVE, design influence, and demand consolidation.
- Partner with Engineering on NPI sourcing, qualification, and alternate part strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering (Electrical/Electronics), Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 7 years of sourcing or commodity management experience in electronics manufacturing.
- Strong expertise in active electronic components and semiconductor supply chains.
- Proven negotiation experience with global suppliers and distributors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage supply constraints, allocations, and high-risk commodities.
