• Develop and execute global commodity strategies for active components (MCUs, ASICs, FPGAs, analog ICs, power semiconductors, memory, optoelectronics).
• Align supplier strategies with technology roadmaps, product lifecycles, and long-term business needs.
• Establish and manage strategic relationships with IDMs, fabs, foundry partners, and authorized distributors.
• Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, LTAs, NCNR terms, allocation commitments, and capacity reservations.
• Own year-over-year cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives through pricing, VAVE, design influence, and demand consolidation.
• Partner with Engineering on NPI sourcing, qualification, and alternate part strategies.

Electronics Commodity Manager – Active Components

• The Electro-Mechanical Commodity Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, supplier performance management, and cost/risk roadmaps for electro-mechanical commodities supporting production and new product introduction (NPI).
• Typical scope may include connectors, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, electromechanical assemblies, sensors, relays/contactors, switches, thermal components (fans, heatsinks), insulation materials, and selected power/electrical subassemblies (based on business needs).
• This role partners closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, and Finance to ensure supply continuity, competitive total cost, and robust quality.

Electro-Mechanical Commodity Manager

• Develop and execute a multi-year category strategy for passive components, aligned to product roadmap, cost targets, and risk posture.
• Build and maintain category intelligence on capacity trends, lead times, allocation risk, technology transitions, and supplier regional strategies.
• Define preferred supplier strategy (global vs. regional), dual/multi-sourcing plans, and standardization opportunities across product lines.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations (pricing, lead times, MOQ/MPQ, NCNR terms, warranties, and liability).
• Deliver measurable improvements in PPV, TCO, cash (inventory), and supply assurance through negotiated agreements, VMI/consignment, and optimized commercial terms.
• Establish and manage LTAs (Long-Term Agreements) and periodic pricing reviews tied to market indices and commodity movement where applicable.
• Own supplier scorecards and performance reviews covering OTD, quality (PPM), responsiveness, cost, and corrective actions.
• Partner with Quality and Engineering to drive 8D/CAPA closure, process controls, and continuous improvement at key suppliers.
• Partner with Engineering to drive component standardization, approved alternates, footprint compatibility, and design-to-availability principles.
• Proactively manage obsolescence (EOL), PCNs, material substitutions, and compliance changes.
• Work with Planning to ensure supplier capacity alignment to forecast, including demand spikes and constrained markets.

Electronics Commodity Manager – Passive Components

Systems Engineer

• Collaborate with Corporate IT leadership to define and execute cloud and infrastructure strategies aligned to business goals.
• Design, implement, and support cloud-based solutions (primarily Azure and AWS), including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
• Administer and optimize cloud environments, including cost management, performance tuning, observability, and backup/recovery.
• Ensure cloud and on‑prem infrastructure adhere to security, compliance, and governance requirements (identity, access, network segmentation, encryption, logging).
• Lead or participate in cloud migration and modernization efforts (server workloads, applications, and services).
• Act as the primary liaison for cloud-based systems within IT, working with internal stakeholders and external vendors/partners.
• Partner with key business and IT stakeholders to develop roadmaps and proposals for new cloud and infrastructure services.
• Manage multiple initiatives concurrently, including planning, task tracking, and status communication.
• Administer and support Azure AD / Entra ID, including identity, groups, roles, conditional access, and SSO integrations.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, Teams Phone, SharePoint Online, and related workloads.
• Manage Microsoft licensing assignments and optimization across M365 and related products.
• Administer and maintain VMware virtualization platforms, including provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Administer Windows Server (2016, 2019, and newer where applicable) and Linux servers, including patching, hardening, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain automation and tooling using PowerShell and other scripting languages to streamline operations.
• Integrate and consume APIs for system automation, monitoring, and data exchange between platforms.
• Provide advanced support for Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related core services.
• Manage and secure file services and network shares, including permissions and access control models.
• Utilize and contribute to IT service management processes using an ITIL-aligned ticketing system (Ivanti Service Desk or similar).
• Collaborate with the Network team on connectivity, routing, VPN, and cloud networking design (VNETs, subnets, security groups, firewalls).
• Assist with configuration, troubleshooting, and best practices for campus and remote site networking (Aruba or Cisco switching/wireless) as it relates to server and cloud connectivity.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to critical incidents, including after-hours emergencies.
• Be able to travel to or work onsite at company locations as required.
