Payroll

• Lead the end-to-end processing of weekly and bi-weekly multi-state and international payroll (US and Canada)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees to resolve payroll or time and attendance inquiries
• Partner closely with HR, Benefits, and Accounting to update employee information
• Own the month-end payroll accruals, weekly journal entries, quarter-end and year-end payroll adjustments
• Serve as Workday Payroll subject matter expert, including configuration of earnings, deductions
• Monitor federal, state, local, and cross-border tax regulations to ensure compliance
• Reconcile payroll bank accounts on a routine basis to identify discrepancies
• Prepare, review, and validate information needed for audits and assist with general ledger duties
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
