About the role

  • Manage all facets of a multidimensional, interwoven team and provide sound, strategic counsel to ensure progress, action and results
  • Develop thorough knowledge of client industry landscape, scientific approach and business objectives in order to identify strategic opportunities
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop strategic programs that meet client goals
  • Work with a variety of clients who span more than one function
  • Develop wide array of communications materials and other deliverables
  • Support VP and above in developing plans, proposals and high-level deliverables
  • Support project managers in managing account financials
  • Ensure team meets deadlines, manages priorities and effectively communicates to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Supervise junior staff and play an active role in their professional development

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in communications, English or similar major
  • At least 5-8 years agency experience, including experience in healthcare and science communications/public relations
  • Experience supporting communications for pharma clients, or similar high-science communications experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and familiarity with media tools (e.g., Cision, Bloomberg Terminal, HootSuite)
  • Knowledge of AI and AI tools
  • Be able to manage multiple projects and/or accounts simultaneously, demonstrate adaptability to new information and shifting priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
