About the role

  • Organised and equipped to tackle a wide variety of tasks
  • All aspects of optical administration such as triaging patients, answering calls and general queries
  • Updating and filing records, managing appointments, banking, through to repairs to hearing aids
  • Provide a top‑notch administrative service that supports the store’s overall success

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Comfortable managing confidential information appropriately
  • A proactive, “can‑do” approach to problem‑solving
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner
  • Good time‑management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes
