About the role
- Making outbound calls to customers and care homes to secure new business
- Contacting customers to inform them about audiology services and products
- Answering questions about products or the company and discussing customer needs
- Asking questions to understand customer requirements and secure new business for the Optical Domiciliary Team
- Managing NHS and Private patient sales and conversions
- Ensuring the meet and exceed set business KPIs and SLAs in line with company processes and procedures
- Keeping records of calls and sales and noting useful information
- Working collaboratively across the business to encourage positive teamwork
- Once trained, going out across the region with an Optometrist to help support and conduct clinics and aftercare for patients in their own homes and in the care home sector
Requirements
- Telesales call centre background or Business Development experience from a medical / dental / pharma sales
- Proven experience in outbound telesales or business development
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales and conversion targets over the phone
- Good knowledge of sales techniques to overcome objections
- Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints if required
- Full UK driving license
