💰 $180,000 - $220,000 per year

About the role

  • As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our customer engagements.
  • You'll own the hands-on, technical deployment of Speakeasy within key accounts.
  • Working autonomously to ensure successful implementations.
  • Serving as a critical technical partner for our customers.
  • You will iterate our core product, driving and implementing improvements hand-in-hand with customers to help achieve their goals.

Requirements

  • Significant back-end / API engineering experience -- likely at least 6-8 years.
  • Previously worked as a founding engineer, solutions engineer, or technical founder
  • Demonstrate exemplary customer empathy: be able to pragmatically connect customers’ goals with Speakeasy
  • Demonstrate high ownership/autonomy.
  • Manage multiple customer relationships and potentially competing priorities elegantly
  • Use your customer learnings to influence the product roadmap and docs, to ensure constant improvement in the customer experience.
