About the role

  • Manage user support requests for Jira, JSM, and Confluence
  • Perform permission and access changes
  • Configure workflows and system settings
  • Conduct system maintenance and administrative tasks
  • Monitor integrations and resolve issues
  • Implement enhancements and workflow improvements
  • Maintain automation updates (where supported)
  • Optimize dashboards, reports, fields, and screen configurations
  • Configure and maintain projects, workflows, schemes, fields, and permission models
  • Manage users, roles, groups, and access controls
  • Administer Atlassian Access (SSO, MFA, conditional access)
  • Maintain configuration baselines and documentation
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with Atlassian/vendor support
  • Monitor system performance and usage trends
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Provide live “Open Office Hour” support for AGC users
  • Enforce FedRAMP, FISMA, and agency-specific security controls
  • Support security reviews and ATO activities
  • Ensure compliance with government data classification standards
  • Develop dashboards and reports using JQL
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting for leadership and audits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4–6 years Atlassian Cloud administration & development experience
  • 4–6 years designing complex Jira/JSM/Confluence workflows and solutions
  • 2–4 years Atlassian Data Center experience
  • 2–4 years cloud architecture & SaaS development experience
  • 2–4 years software/integration development experience (JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL preferred)
  • Experience developing API integrations (REST APIs) with tools such as Slack, GitHub, and AWS
  • Scripting proficiency (Groovy, Python, or Bash)
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a secure, regulated environment.
