About the role
- Manage configuration and changes in existing systems and in development projects for new solutions
- Create baselines and verify naming conventions and organization of configuration items in the Configuration Management tool
- Control configuration and changes of products delivered to the customer
- Provide support to product development activities
- Provision workspaces and configuration items required by team members
- Perform configuration identification and control, configuration audits, and release and delivery management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
- Completion of a higher education degree plus a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's or doctorate) in Information Technology of at least 360 hours
- Configuration management
- Change control
- Software versioning in distributed and/or mainframe environments
- Knowledge of configuration management principles and discipline (ISO/IEC 12207, ITIL Release Management)
- Tools: Git, SVN, ClearCase (Base/UCM), Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, CA Endevor, JCL, z/OS versioning
- Continuous integration and artifact repository management
- Creation and application of baselines
- Versioning of environments, builds and release packages
- Change governance in software factories
- Familiarity with ALM tools and application lifecycle management
