About the role

  • Lead a dedicated HR team encompassing all relevant centers of expertise, HR operations teams and HR Business Partners
  • Manage and lead strategic and operational projects (both globally and locally initiated) in the areas of compensation, benefits, succession planning, organizational design and development, change management, learning & development, recruiting, performance management, employee appraisal, employee relations, payroll, administration, internal communications and HR information systems
  • Work closely with a range of stakeholders, including corporate headquarters as well as local management and relevant employees
  • Drive company productivity and efficiency and improve employee retention to support profitable growth through true HR business partnering
  • Establish fair and equitable relationships across the company and committees, ensure open communication and build effective partnerships
  • Promote a smoothly functioning, efficient and customer-focused HR team
  • Define and manage the HR budget as well as other financial and performance-related metrics
  • Identify, implement and monitor new HR KPIs, with particular emphasis on people analytics
  • Analyze current HR systems and develop proposals for improvements to enhance performance

Requirements

  • University degree in business, management and/or human resources, or an equivalent qualification
  • More than 10 years of experience in senior HR roles with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proven expertise across most areas of human resources (internal communications, talent acquisition, employer branding, talent management/performance, compensation and benefits, workforce and succession planning, organizational development, works council/employee representative relations, etc.)
  • Experience in M&A projects (post-merger / acquisition processes)
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously — including digitalization/automation of HR processes
  • Recent experience working in an international environment, e.g. in a matrix organization
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
