About the role

  • Support with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing tasks such as event planning, social media, market research, video, and content marketing
  • Oversee marketing coordination of events, including liaising with internal teams and external vendors, managing registrations, developing and executing work back schedules, conducting post-event debriefs, while tracking budget
  • Support in the coordination of corporate sales and marketing memberships and associations, including list maintenance and quarterly touch points with key stakeholders
  • Assist with the management and tracking of the annual marketing budget to support promotional spending in line with the annual marketing plan
  • Support key projects related to Marketing Communications, including social media (paid and organic), email campaigns, internal announcements, collateral development etc.
  • Liaise with external vendors on key projects, as required
  • Development of soft content on our company intranet, Sparklife
  • Assist with the maintenance of marketing documents and other sales material, including but not limited to sell sheets, templates, presentations, and other marketing materials
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience managing social media platforms using tools such as Hootsuite or similar scheduling software
  • Strong graphic design skills using industry-standard tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • A strong eye for branding, layout, and visual storytelling across digital channels
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take initiative as an independent self-starter
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, including content marketing and social media strategy
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Experience supporting marketing projects involving budgets and resource planning
  • Previous experience in a similar marketing or communications role (considered a strong asset)
