About the role
- Join an international team delivering IT projects and lead project delivery
- Manage projects effectively across the full lifecycle and ensure milestones are met
- Establish and manage project controls and ensure quality of all project deliverables
- Identify, track, and communicate project risks, issues, and changes
- Liaise with stakeholders and project boards and prepare deliveries for governance
- Assign and balance workloads; motivate and guide team members
- Produce project management documentation (plans, schedules, reports)
- Prepare and deliver high-quality reports and presentations
- Organise and conduct project meetings
- Provide strong leadership to manage complex projects end-to-end and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Level 7) in ICT or a related field
- At least 8 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager on medium to large projects
- Recognised project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, PM2 (Essential or Advanced) or similar
- Proven experience leading at least one medium–large ICT project as a Project Manager
- Excellent conflict management and resolution skills
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in the public sector, ideally in international or EU-related organisations
- C1 level English with certification
- Knowledge of Data Privacy & Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Business Continuity, Information Security Risk Assessment in EU contexts
- Additional project management or Agile certifications (desirable)
- Experience with international teams and large-scale IT environments
- Able to work remotely within the EU (role is fully remote within the EU)
