About the role

  • Assist with transferring course content, learning assets, and user data from the legacy LMS to the new platform.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure migrated content is accurate, complete, and properly formatted.
  • Help configure courses, learning paths, user roles, and system settings in the new LMS.
  • Support testing of LMS features, workflows, and integrations to identify issues or opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather, organize, and validate data needed for migration activities, including user lists, completion records, and course metadata.
  • Assist in generating reports to track migration progress and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain documentation of migration steps, data dictionaries, and mapping decisions.
  • Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, and support materials for LMS processes.
  • Document findings from testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with Learning Operations team members, instructional designers, and IT partners to support migration tasks.
  • Participate in project meetings, taking notes and following up on assigned action items.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering/Software Engineering, Business Analytics/Business Information Systems.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Planner, Litmos, SmartSheets tools.
