About the role
- Assist with transferring course content, learning assets, and user data from the legacy LMS to the new platform.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure migrated content is accurate, complete, and properly formatted.
- Help configure courses, learning paths, user roles, and system settings in the new LMS.
- Support testing of LMS features, workflows, and integrations to identify issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, organize, and validate data needed for migration activities, including user lists, completion records, and course metadata.
- Assist in generating reports to track migration progress and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
- Maintain documentation of migration steps, data dictionaries, and mapping decisions.
- Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, and support materials for LMS processes.
- Document findings from testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with Learning Operations team members, instructional designers, and IT partners to support migration tasks.
- Participate in project meetings, taking notes and following up on assigned action items.
Requirements
- Minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering/Software Engineering, Business Analytics/Business Information Systems.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Planner, Litmos, SmartSheets tools.
